Very interesting to see that MouthOff™ sales peaks and troughs mirror 1 MouthOff™ downloads almost exactly. Using FLURRY we can see that at least 12% of the 1 MouthOff™ users convert to MouthOff™ meaning we have about 50 sales a day coming from other sources. More than probable that it’s a combination of word of mouth, showusyourmouthoff and stumbling across the app. Read more here.

We just looked at the sales MouthOff™ has had globally to see where the biggest markets for MouthOff™ love are. It certainly wasn’t a surprise to see the US taking nearly half the total sales since its birth on March 04/09. The US is clearly the biggest market. What stood out to us was that the appetite for MouthOff™ in UK was the same as the whoel of Europe!. This is particularly interesting for us because as it stands Ben 10 MouthOff™ is not released in the US. It was also a surprise to see the Japanese market to be the 4th biggest with MouthOff™ as until recently the iPhone easn’t even the phone of choice.

techcrunch just ran: To Revitalize iPhone App Sales, Get T-Mobile And Dana Carvey To Pimp A Copycat Android App We at ustwo™ were also amazed when we saw the T-mobile App advert as there was a copycat of MouthOff™ on it. Although it was a shame MouthOff™ wasn’t used (we release our MouthOff™ Android version next week) you can see above that it has pushed sales of MouthOff™ in the US by 50% since the advert aired!.
